Originally we started out as Clown Antics. Clown Antics was founded in 1988 near San Diego, California, selling clothing, props and other material for professional and amateur clowns. The company grew into a full service online retailer several years later. We started Striped Socks because we noticed that not only clowns bought striped socks!
